Especificación de cuadrículas y configuraciones de ajuste

Grids help you specify points in the 3D View area for creating sketch entities and act as reference lines. By default, the display of grids is turned off. You can turn on the display of grids in the 3D View area and the snap mode to snap the movement of the cursor on grid lines. The methods to control the display of grids and the snap mode are discussed below:

  1. Click on the Togle grid tool in the Sketcher edit tools toolbar, see Figure 2.18. The grids are displayed in the 3D View area with default spacing between the grid lines, see Figure 2.19. Note that this tool is used to toggle the display of grids on or off within the 3D View area.

Now, you can define the spacing between two subsequent grid lines, as required.

  2. Click on the arrow next to the Toggle grid tool in the Sketcher edith tools toolbar to display a menu, see Figure 2.20.

  3. In the Spacing field of this menu, enter the required spacing between two subsequent grid lines. You can also use the Spinner up or down arrows of the Spacing field to increase or decrease the spacing between two subsequent grid lines in the 3D View area, see Figure 2.19.

Note: When the Grid auto spacing check box is selected in the menu, the spacing between the grid lines will automatically adjust as you zoom in and out of the view in the 3D View area.

Now, you can toggle the snap mode.

  4. Click on the Toggle snap tool in the Sketcher edit tools toolbar to turn on the snap mode for snapping the movement of the cursor on grid lines based on the default snap settings, see Figure 2.21. Note that this tool is used to toggle the snap mode on or off.

Note: To snap the movement of the cursor to grid lines while drawing a sketch entity, you must turn on the snap mode.

Now, you can control the snap settings.

  5. Click on the arrow next to the Togle
